Arriving By Public Transport

Situated in Zone 3, the fishery is easy to get to on public transport.
London Underground: the Victoria Line goes to both Blackhorse Road and Tottenham Hale.  The entrance is 10 minutes walk from either station.
By Rail: Blackhorse Road and Tottenham Hale are 20 mins from Liverpool Street station. The Gospel Oak to Barking Line (part of the London Overground) also goes through Blackhorse Road.
Buses: The 123 or 230 bus stops outside the fishery and the W4 stops 100 yards from the entrance.

Access & Facilities

  • Disabled access: There are two car parks reserved for disabled drivers, one by the North West corner of No 4, the other by the South West corner of No 5. If you have your disabled badge visible in your windscreen the Rangers will lift the barrier allowing access.
  • Wheelchair access: Although a wheelchair ramp has been installed to the Self-Service Permit Office, at present only one of the coarse fishing reservoirs has a platform specially constructed for wheelchairs. The club is working with Thames Water to introduce wheelchair platforms on the fly-fishing reservoirs. Ring the fishery for the latest information.
  • Toilets: There are both Lady’s and Gentleman’s toilets in the Engine House.
  • Shelter: There is a fisherman’s shelter near the Causeway between Reservoirs Nos 4 and 5, handy in the event of a downpour.
  • Pub: The Ferry Boat Inn just across the road serves food but there are no shops within easy walking distance so it is best to bring your own provisions.
