Great news everyone, the reservoirs have now fully re-opened to both season ticket and day ticket holders. Unfortunately, to encourage social distancing there will be no fishing permitted on the West banks of 4 & 5 as priority has been given to walkers within the Wetlands. We understand that this means that fishing can be difficult, particularly as the prevailing wind comes from this direction and hope that fishing can resume in due course.
For those that have made it out to the reservoirs the fishing has been intermittent. Classic 'Stow', its feast or famine with high numbers recorded one day and and anglers struggling the next. Keep at it though, particularly to the end of the day as fish have been showing on the surface late on and the views have been epic. red & black buzzers on a floating line or boobies fished deep on a DI 7 have been the successful methods lately. |
Now that Lockdown is easing we are pleased to announce that the postponed Final Fling competition has now been confirmed for Saturday 08 May.
