A Fly Fishing Club in Central London for those that love fly fishing, enjoy the outdoors but don't always have the opportunity to escape. WFFC.
Start Fly Fishing
Ever picked up a rod or seen others doing it and fancied fly fishing? If you are a beginner, Andrew Hathaway will provide all teaching and guiding experiences so that you understand the water and the techniques that will allow you to catch on the reservoirs. However, if like me you found an old rod and reel in the shed or inherited one and fancy going out on your own, WFFC members will be on the water most days so please don't hesitate to ask for advice.
The Summer League Starts 03 June at 5.30pm
Great news, following the cancellation of the Haven house we are pleased to announce that the Summer league will continue (almost) as normal. To ensure safe distancing we have slightly adjusted the format to ensure that there is enough time for the weigh in before the reservoirs close at 10pm. Fishing will now start at 5.30pm & finish at 9.30pm with weigh in at hut off the causeway at 9.30pm. We are hoping that normal times will resume for later rounds if the Ferry Boat reopens and it is safe to do so. See you all Wednesday.
Vince King takes the Haven House trophy and the club raises an amazing £1319
